Ajman's pursuit for improved 'information and communications technologies' (ICTs) has been widely used to describe both the fast-paced, new-growth industrial sector of the economy, as well as the continuous introduction of innovative technologies that uphold the benefits of an information society.

The Emirate is continuously innovating to improve the collection and quality of their ICT initiatives and services and is engaging in global competition. It has been actively observing these developments and, in recent years, has sought to produce several aspects of ICT- related phenomena from various approaches. It aspires to create a more enhanced information society that will foster growth, productivity and efficiency.
